Nicki Minaj SNL

Nicki Minaj SNL
Nicki Minaj made the most of her headline-grabbing visit to the U.K. recently, but the Young Money star’s hometown return and appearance on "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg was “monumental,” according to Nicki herself. The rapper was the musical guest for the weekend and the woman of many voices and faces was added to a couple of sketches as well. Twitter fans reacted to the rapper’s appearance in the "SNL" digital short with Andy Samberg’s Lonely Island group, "Do The Creep," and also her performance of the emotional “Right Through Me.”
"Love it you look so good! Do da creep! Lol, Nic made the show perfect so perfect #nickiOnSNL," @RainaMinaj tweeted.
Added @MagnusCarter1, "Do The Creep? Really? Nicki?"
Some focused on her clothes.
"Nicki Minaj's dress is so gorgeous. #snl," @caroline_rein said.
Nicki employed the pink gumby look she debuted across the pond and her performance of “Right Through Me” was subdued but steady, with the live band capturing the energy of the actual recorded track. The rapper showed off some of her comedic acting chops as well with an appearance in a “Bride of Blackenstein” skit.
"@nickiminaj that 'Blackenstein' skit on #SNL was one of the funniest skits, if not the funniest skit, I've seen in a long time," @DajDe responded.
But others went so impressed.
"That Bride of Blackenstein sketch was lame and coonish but I was too distracted by Nicki's ass to really notice," tweeted @cthagod.
The Queens native ended her appearance on the show with her latest single “Moment 4 Life” sans Canadian heartthrob Drake. Donning the same black and white wig from the “Blackenstein” skit and a skin-tight, colorful body suit, fans reactions were mixed.
