Father’s Day 2011 is almost upon us, so to commemorate the auspicious occasion, here are my top 10 quotes to honor dads across the nation. In addition, I’ve included several of the more popular Father’s Day events in Atlanta, including the Annual Father’s Day Frosty weekend at Wendy’s to benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation.   • Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta: Saturday, June 18th at 12:00 noon. Make it a special day with Dad and the whole family. Join the Imaginators for a Father's Day Celebration.

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden: Sunday, June 19th at 1:00 p.m. Dad will feel like a kid again during this fun day at the Garden! Farm Burger will heat things up in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen with cooking demonstrations and tastes. Dads get ½ price admission on Father’s Day.

  • Superhero Day at Fernbank Museum: Sunday, June 19th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Is your dad SUPER ? Is he your ultimate HERO? Then check out Fernbank for a day of super fun celebrating dads and other superheros during this special family day. Dress as your favorite superhero and enjoy games, hands-on activities and more. $17.50 for adults, $16.50 for students/seniors, $15.50 for children ages 3 to 12; free for children ages 2 and younger and members.

  • Wendy’s 5th Annual Father’s Day Frosty Weekend: June 18th and 19th. Participating Wendy's restaurants across the country will donate a minimum of 50¢ from every Frosty product sold to support Wendy's Wonderful Kids, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (DTFA) that finds adoptive families for foster children.
