Former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah on Tuesday pledged to insist on his presidential aspirations in South Carolina to face major hurdles even after third place in the Republican primary in New Hampshire, which had fincado their chances of achieving candidacy.

"I say the third is a ticket to ride, ladies and gentlemen. Hello, South Carolina," Huntsman told supporters gathered at a restaurant in the city of Manchester.


Huntsman, 51, travels to that state on Wednesday but will expect serious difficulties in trying to achieve the Republican Party's presidential nomination. South Carolina is virtually unknown, has little infrastructure and only has 10 days to position.

But New Hampshire animated leaves after finishing down the former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Ron Paul of Texas lawmaker who sought the nomination in 2008.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I think we're hunting," Huntsman said in reference to a frequent theme of his campaign "Join the Hunt" based on the first four letters of your last name mean hunting.
