She’s dating one of the world’s most famous pop stars, but Selena Gomez is keeping cool about her relationship with Justin Bieber, saying they're just having fun.
The singer appeared on Daybreak this morning but all she’d say about her boyfriend was: ‘It’s fun, I’m young, it’s nice, I’m having fun.’
And when ITV presenter Dan Lobb suggested that 17-year-old Justin was her toyboy, she looked shocked and said ‘What?’
After not being very impressed with the remark about her younger man, The 18-year-old then performed her new single Love You Like A Love Song in a loose T-shirt and jeans.
Selena is in London promoting her third album, When The Sun Goes Down, with her band The Scene and said she’s really excited about going on her first tour with her band this summer.
‘We have just released the dates for the US tour but we are definitely wanting to do a world tour too, but we’re just not quite sure when,’ she told Christine Bleakley.
While in London, Selena has also attended a signing in HMV and said her UK fans ‘are so sweet’.
‘I got a bunch of scrap books from my fans, it was so sweet’, Gomez said.
Yesterday the Wizards of Waverly Place star visited the BBC Radio One studios to also promote the album.
The star was wearing bright red lipstick alongside a pair of skin-tight trousers and a loose black top.
Gomez has been a very busy girl indeed and has also hinted that her Dream Out Loud clothing collection might be coming to the UK.
She tweeted today: ‘Checking out the back to school collection. Europe/UK – you ready to Dream Out Loud.
While visiting London this week, Selena also celebrated the launch of Disney Channel HD and treated fans to tracks Who Says and Love You Like A Love Song, filmed exclusively for Disney Pop Stop, a music shorts programme which will premiere on the channel later this year.
And speaking of her upcoming seven-week tour, she told Billboard.com: ‘We’re dividing it into four sections. We’re going to have wardrobe changes. There’s going to be dancers – I will not be dancing most of the time.’
Meanwhile, the Monte Carlo actress has also said she’d love to play Charlotte York in a Sex And The City prequel.
She said: ‘It’s more my mum’s show. Whenever it first came out I wasn’t allowed to watch it because I was really young. But no, it would be an honour.’
