Giorgio Armani

Famed fashion icon Giorgio Armani on Tuesday opened a spinoff Armani Exchange boutique in Tampa, offering more casual items inspired from the designer's runway items.
The A|X store sits on the lower level of International Plaza, across the way from Forever 21 and next to the soon-to-be H&M store.
Armani has now opened eight A|X locations in Florida, a state that has done quite well for the company, said spokesman Patrick Doddy.
The Armani company has grown to more than 5,000 employees worldwide, with 13 factories and more than 600 stores, including 85 Giorgio Armani boutiques, 207 A|X Armani Exchange stores, 14 Emporio Armani Caffès, and 28 Armani Casa stores, in 46 countries.
Compared to an Abercrombie & Fitch or Banana Republic, A|X sells a "more European sense of appeal," geared to nightlife, Doddy said.
"Mr. Armani interprets items from his main line into a more youthful collection," he said.
A charcoal men's blazer sells for $125, jeans for $115 and plaid denim shirts for $68. For women, a purple leather purse sells for $78, skinny jeans for $125, tank tops for $38 and sunglasses for $65.
