The SASTRA University in Thanjavur has invites applications to Engineering courses (B. Tech programmes) for 2011.
The B. Tech programmes at SASTRA are available for Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Information Communication Technology, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics couses.
Apart from these, a 5-year Integrated M.Tech. Dual degree (B.Tech. and M.Tech.) programme is also on offer.
Admission to 70 per cent of the seats at SASTRA will on the basis of marks obtained in a qualifying examination. The rest of the seats will be filled on the basis of markes obtained in the AIEEE 2011 examination.
Admission form and prospectus can be optained from the SASTRA campus at Thanjavur and Kumbakonam on payment of Rs 600.
Admission forms can also be downloaded from the SASTRA website www.sastra.edu and are also available at selected branches of India Overseas Bank and City Union Bank.
