Murder is a cult music album; people still remember the lyrics of Bheege hote Tere and most of the Murder songs. It gave Emraan Hashmi the tag that his movie may be a dud but the songs are going to be amazing. Anu Malik gave one of his best scores to the album of Murder; all the songs were very good.
So when the sequel was announced from then the music fans have been raving how good the music can be of Murder 2. The trailer went online and we all heard Haal E Dil and I was like this sounds like a winner to me.
but seriously a word of caution here, don’t expect the music of Murder 2 to be that good, because it is not and here we tell you why, first let me tell you who has composed the music for Murder 2. as they say too many cooks spoil the broth, the Bollywood industry knows that too many composers have never worked but still the Bhatts bring a huge line-up of music composers like Harshit Saxena, Sangeet & Siddharth Haldipur, Mithoon and all these are super composers and have given classy music in the past.
Murder 2’s album starts with a wonderful bang, WOW, the Haal E Dil track is just so good, the track is soulful has a good tune to it and more importantly it is surely hummable, the song is composed by Harshit Saxena, whom you have seen on many reality shows and he really delivers the goods with this track and looks like Hrashit is going to carve a niche for himself in this industry. The song is penned down by Sayeed Qadri is a very naughty yet lovable number. Surely going to be a chartbuster. The song has a acoustic version too and that one is severely awesome.

What is this, some lame number in an over hyped album. No tune no melody, please bare us all with these numbers. This number sounds like a B-grade flick number one which you would get in a movie like “A strange love story” and not Murder 2. this song surely is the biggest let-down in the album, the lyrics are also bad, just have a look at them. The voice feel is also bad. Seriously the earlier Murder album had awesome numbers.

Average strictly average, so much expectation from the album and we get what, two good numbers, that’s it. But seriously we expected the Bhatts reuniting with Emraan Hashmi and both re-uniting the Murder brand, we really expected more goods from the album seriously. Lets just hope the movie is better than the first, which looks doubtful looking at the trailer of the movie, which looks like it surely has changed the premise from a murder story to some really creepy dark murder story, well cant judge on that, but lets just hope that the movie is not a downer like the album.My Favorites:
