Jyotirmoy Dey


An unknown group on Saturday shot and killed a journalist to investigate crimes that occurred in the coastal city ofMumbai , located in western India .

Jyotirmoy Dey received at least five dead by four assailants who were riding on two motorcycles, as reported by the police.
Dey was killed at the entrance of a building in the suburb of Powai,located in the populous Northeast India's financial capital, which is the fief of many organized crime gangs.
The victim, who worked for the daily "Midday" , was taken to a local hospital after the attack, but was pronounced dead as soon as it arrived.
" He was a reporter investigating the crime, but so far we have no clue who could be behind the murder, " a police source said.
