Harley Davidson

For more than a century, Harley-Davidson has kept thousands of items locked up in a secure warehouse, shielded from public viewing. But now, the motorcycle maker is sharing some of those things with the public in a new exhibit, Collection X.
The Museum has 10,000 square feet of space in its garage where you can see first-hand prototypes like a Harley-Davidson trike with two wheels in front. There are also hundreds of artifacts ranging from concept motors to homemade contraptions.
Collection X also includes vintage Harley-inspired apparel and odd art. Among the most unusual -- an all-leather Harley bike.
"It's made completely out of leather, right down to the chain and even the tools in the tool bag.  And this was made by a Japanese company by the name of Red Mood. It took 20 of their artisans two years to complete the project," said Kristen Jones, Harley-Davidson Museum Curator.
Collection X opens on Saturday, June 11 and runs through August 21st.
