Ashlee Simpson, Ashley Tisdale, and Christina Milian took time to help at the 22nd annual 'A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival' held in Los Angeles. The Veterans Administration Lawn hosted a star studded event for a worthy cause on Sunday. The event, sponsored by Disney, was a benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Each year Hollywood’s famous faces come out to support the cause by working outside to raise cash.
Taking to a booth, the event is more of a uniquely styled carnival. The celebrities volunteer their time to work the games and booth activities to raise money for the charity. The guests of the event get a chance to interact, take a few photos an even enjoy a game or two. Plus there is plenty of food on hand for the hunger pains.
While the fun side of the event is on the lawn, the seriousness of raising cash is important too. A Time for Heroes is expected to raise one and a half million dollars to help eliminate pediatric AIDS.
