Is Reggie Bush on his way out of The Big Easy?
Well, it might look that way based on what heposted on his Twitter accountThursday after theteam drafted running back Mark Ingram: "It's been fun New Orleans."
Bush's agent, Joel Segal (who also represents Ingram) wouldn't talk about the former USC running back's future with the Saints and it's unclear whether Bush would be willing to take a pay cut in order to stay with the team. Bush, who said in January he didn't expect to be back with the team, is due $11.8 million in base salary in 2011.
Of course, maybe Bush was just venting a little frustration. There's a chance he could stay on the Saints if he finally agrees to restructure his contract. But that scenario seems unlikely.
Later he tweeted, "Congrats to Mark Ingram on being selected to New Orleans. He will be a great addition to the Saints backfield just as he was in Alabama."
