Alexander Mcqueen Death

Sarah Burton, the genius behind Kate Middleton’s stunning wedding dress, has finally been allowed to break her silence.
The designer took over Alexander McQueen’s fashion house after his death last year. Burton said that she is “delighted” with the final result and is very grateful for having had the opportunity.
Burton said: "It has been the experience of a lifetime to work with Catherine Middleton to create her wedding dress, and I have enjoyed every moment of it."
"It was such an incredible honour to be asked, and I am so proud of what we and the Alexander McQueen team have created. [I am] delighted that the dress represents the best of British craftsmanship.
"Alexander McQueen's designs are all about bringing contrasts together to create startling and beautiful clothes and I hope that by marrying traditional fabrics and lacework, with a modern structure and design, we have created a beautiful dress for Catherine on her wedding day."
Leading up to the day there had been a great deal of speculation about the designer behind one of the most secret dresses in Britain, but many seem please with the result.
The lace on the bride's dress details a rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock, and was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace.
The bridal train measures 2m 70cm, and along with the lace, all other fabrics used in the creation of the dress were sourced from and supplied by British companies.
The lace motifs were pinned, "framed up" and applied with stab stitching every 2mm to 3mm around each lace motif.
Workers washed their hands every 30 minutes to keep the lace and threads pristine, and the needles were renewed every three hours, to keep them sharp and clean.
The veil was held in place by a Cartier "halo" tiara, lent to Miss Middleton by the Queen.
A wide range of celebrities have announced their approval on social networking site Twitter, including Coleen Rooney, Estelle and Emma Bunton.
Coleen Rooney tweeted: "Kate looks beautiful breath of fresh air!! William and Harry look very smart aswell! Very tasteful x"
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton commented: "Absolutely beautiful couple!!! They look exquisite!"
Singer Estelle tweeted: "She looks soooo pwettyyyy. Gorgeous and grand and amazing......wow. Yasssss mcqueen.... Amazing."
