Next World's Fair

World Fair or also known as World Expo, is an event where participating countries can show off their very own culture, tradition, products and services. According to World’s Fair’s Wikipedia entry, the World Fairs originated in France with their tradition of national exhibitions held in Paris.
Other countries in Europe reportedly adopted the practice, until on May 1, 1851 when London launched the first ever International World Fair. Now you know why Google is celebrating World Fair today until tomorrow.
Google’s World’s Fair Doodle is very interesting, and very beautiful (compared to the Audubon Doodle last week), users can magnify the illustrations of World Fair attendees inside the tweaked logo. Isn’t that cute?
Apparently, Google recently launched the BETA version of its very own Groupon called “Google Offers.” Launching in 6 different cities in United States, the Google Offers makes the search engine giant another company to watch out for in the local advertising market.
But Google is not the only company that wants to snatch Groupon’s business. The social networking giant Facebook also launched its own called “Facebook Deals.” Facebook launched its daily coupon deals product in 5 different cities in United States. Online MBA created an infographic to show the brief “history” of the companies competing for the title of the “Daily Deals King.” From company’s valuation to payment options, the infographic also briefly explains why Google and Facebook can kill Groupon in the next coming years.
