Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious BIG or Biggie Smalls, was in Los Angeles 9th March 1997 killing, six months after another violent death shocked the music industry on the west coast, where the rapper Tupac Shakur was murdered in Las Vegas.

Lator George Christopher Wallace, born 21st May 1972, was in a suburb that the relocation of part of the music industry, the rapper was shot to death involved the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

While Suge Knight was in jail for violating probation at the time of the shooting of BIG, said Poole CNN that he believes "Suge Knight has the strikes ordered" and that the murder was of Death Records head organized safety line, Reggie Wright, jr. Both Knight and Wright to deny that anything to do with the death of Wallace (Rowan).

Poole said he retired early LAPD, and that during the investigation found evidence that the police involved in the crime and was working for Death Row Records in your spare time: "I think I was too close to the truth [... .] I think he was afraid the truth would be a scandal "(Rowlands).
A former police officer, David Mack in particular, as the man who actually fired the bullet that killed Wallace considered. According to Poole, Mack's former colleague had the same car as the shooter was on the other hand, Mack seems to reflect the sketch of the murderer witness said he saw at the time of the shooting.
Although Poole said he told the truth, "said the Los Angeles City Council Bernard Parks that his statement is false because, as he told CNN:" I have never ignored an advantage that could help solve the murder "(Rowlands).

After almost 14 years of mystery and unanswered questions about the Notorious BIG may have been killed, police reopened the murder of Christopher Wallace. Perry Sanders, Wallace family lawyer, gave a statement on behalf of their clients, who are called "very happy for the progress. [...] The main concern was always the resolution of the criminal investigation" (MTV News "Notorious BIG murder case reopened 8th January 2011).
