We may be in the midst of a summer heat wave in the northeast, but Vera Bradley brings the cool with her new line of bags for fall, which launched July 7.
Bradley’s line for fall 2011 boasts the same cozy, feminine pieces you’ve come to love. But some of her patterns and color choices are bolder and -- dare I say just a little bit hipper? -- than in seasons past. This new collection has looks that will appeal to you, your ‘tween, and your co-ed.
“Everybody knows Vera,” says Estelle Carrafiello, the Vera Bradley manager at Coreen’s Bridge Floral Shop in Southport. “She thinks of everything a woman would look for in a bag. Pockets, zippers, her pieces have it all. They’re incredibly lightweight. And she’s constantly updating her styles to incorporate new looks and accommodate new technology. Her new college pieces are perfect for carrying a laptop.”
One of these collegiate pieces, the “Most Likely to Succeed” bag, bears a bright, almost Asian-inspired pattern. And it’s a statement making carry-all that works just as well on campus as it does at the farmers’ market.
“Her bags work for every woman, as purses, book bags, even diaper bags,” says Carrafiello. “She really appeals to everyone.”
You can find a Vera Bradley retailer in your area on the Vera Bradley Website. Or, you can just stop by Coreen’s at 363 Pequot Ave. in Southport and ask for Estelle. She’d be happy to help you find your new favorite Vera Bradley bag.
