The woman who accused former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of attempted rape made false claims on her application for asylum in the US. according to a letter sent by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office to Strauss-Kahn’s lawyers.
According to the letter, Strauss-Kahn’s accuser didn’t flee her native Guinea in fear of her life, and was told to memorize a narrative to help her application for asylum.
The letter also says the accuser didn’t tell the truth to a grand jury when she said she remained in a hallway after the allged incident and before reporting to her supervisor. Instead, she cleaned a nearby room and began to clean the suite where the incident was alleged to have occurred before reporting it.
