Sometimes when pain is so intense, the only thing you can do is laugh. And that’s exactly what Funny Or Die intends with the presentation of Field Of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout. If you’ve seen the original movie, then the plot is the same, only with a few twists and turns from the F.O.D. crew. Taylor Lautner’s dream of resurrecting football becomes a reality while featuring the likes of Ray Lewis, Tony Gonzalez, Marshall Faulk, DeShawn Jackson, Ray Liotta and more all make appearances in case you’re looking for star power.
At this point though, even seeing something like this is encouraging. Yes, I’m desperate. Yes, I actually do get encouraged whenever I read a headline of “progress” and “lockout” in the same sentence. Yes, I know, I’m one sad case. But do you think I care? Not at all because I’m a proud person who can admit to being brainwashed by my love of football. So, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to click play on this again, laugh and pray one of these days I’ll wake up to seeing a headline stating “Ding, Dong, The Witch Is Dead: NFL Lockout Over.” Or something like that.
