Can irony get any sweeter? Police raiding a rave that coincided with International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking?
Shakti Kapoor's son, Siddhant Kapoor, who is apparently a DJ by profession, claimed he was "just doing his stuff" (pun unintended), when the police had caught him at another rave inside a Juhu pub inMumbai three years ago. While he's mostly expected to push his musical alibi again, some other celebrity sons, all rave debutants, may have learnt their lesson the first time around.
Vinod and Kavita Khanna's son Sakshi, who is gearing for a Bollywood debut after completing an acting course, was also rounded up and released after undergoing a medical test. According to a source, Yash and Avanti Birla's son Vedant was also among the attendees but his name did not figure in any of the reports.
Though sources insist that Sakshi and Vedant don't do drugs. However, according to reports, they might have been drawn in by peer pressure to celebrate some obscure Nepali festival in honour of Mother Earth.
