In addition to the New York Powerball grand prize winner, there were eleven (11) Match 5 + 0 winners for $200,000 each. Two (2) of those lucky lottery winners also also purchased PowerPlay tickets which instantly raised their $200,000 prize winnings to a whopping $1,000,000! The million dollar winners bought their PowerPlay tickets from the Connecticut Lottery and North Carolina Lottery commissions for the June 1, 2011 Powerball drawing.
