Nokia is all set to launch its new phone based on the Symbian S40 operating system, confirmed Fernando Freytes, Nokia's Manager of marketing in Argentina. The new phone will have a 1 GHz processor and full Qwerty keypad.
The S40 operating system was, however, simultaneously showcased along with the new Touch and Type series based on the same operating system.
Fernando twitted that the new phone will have 512 MB of RAM along with a capacitive touch-based clear black LCD display and moreover, it will be 3G HSDPA capable.
Even though the market speculation around the latest phone seems to enforce the efforts being put in to draft the refine design, the actual picture is expected to be cleared this week when the Company leaders will put across their products in front of the tech savvies across the world, who will flock to get a glimpse of the S40 version of Symbian operating system of Sony at the Nokia Connection event in Singapore.
With market flooded with a large number of technology geniuses, including plethora of Android and iOS phones, what kind of euphoria this latest phone from Sony will be able to create, is yet to be seen.
