Gwyneth Paltrow hit the stage at London's O2 arena during Wednesday night's "Glee" live tour stop.
The actress, who plays substitute teacher Holly Holiday on the show, sang her version of Cee Lo Green's hit "Forget You."
Before the show, "Glee" star Lea Michele hinted on Twitter that that evening's performance "was going to be a special one," before revealing the show's surprise guest.
"Cats out of the bag! @GwynethPaltrow here tonight to do a special performance of Forget You! We love you Gwyneth! So happy you're here!" she tweeted.
According to the Daily Mail, cheerleader Santana (played by Naya Rivera) was in the middle of telling the rest of the cast that she had been named sexist Glee club member when Paltrow came out and challenged her to a sing-off.
The Oscar-winner had some young fans watching her from the audience. She tweeted: " Just took four 7 year olds to glee live london. somebody pass me something vaguely hallucinogenic." (Her daughter, Apple, is 7.)
Paltrow also appeared as Holly Holiday at the "Glee" tour stop in East Rutherford, N.J., last week.
