Foot Locker


Specialty athletic retailer Foot Locker has announced senior management promotions in a bid to improve its retail and direct businesses performance.
Currently president and CEO for Foot Locker US, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Footaction, Richard Johnson will be promoted to executive vice president and group president of retail stores. He will be responsible for all of the company's domestic and international store banners.
President and CEO of Champs Sports, Stephen Jacobs will succeed Johnson. Bryon Milburn, managing director of Foot Locker, Canada will assume those responsibilities from Jacobs. Nick Jones, who is currently general merchandise manager of Foot Locker Europe will succeed Milburn.
In addition, Foot Locker also promoted Lauren Peters to executive vice president and chief financial officer, succeeding Robert McHugh, who will be promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president of operations support. He will be responsible for information systems and technology, real estate, logistics, sourcing and team edition.
Ronald Halls, currently president and CEO of Foot Locker International, will retire later this summer. The changes will take effect as of 1 July.
