Trading in silver exchange traded funds (ETFs) again dominated the action Tuesday as silver cooled from its recent rally and prices fell about 4%.
The iShares Silver Trust (NYSEArca: SLV) was the most active ETF by share volume after topping the list Monday.
A leveraged ETF that bets against silver,ProShares UltraShort Silver (NYSEArca: ZSL), was also among the ETFs seeing the highest trading volume Tuesday. It rose more than 8%.
Silver holdings in iShares Silver Trust rose 239.8 metric tons to 11,390.1 metric tons as of April 25, according to Bloomberg.
Other exchange traded products for silver include ETFs Physical Silver (NYSEArca: SIVR), PowerShares DB Silver (NYSEArca: DBS) and Sprott Physical Silver Trust (NYSEArca: PSLV).
