But three southern New Englanders are getting a very good consolation prize.
There are a pair of $200,000 winners in Rhode Island and one in Connecticut. The winning $200,000 tickets matched all five numbers but not the PowerBall number.
The winning numbers were 10-18-41-55-56 Powerball 15 and PowerPlay 2
The two winning $10,000 tickets were sold by BJ’s Wholesale Club in Coventry and Gomez Market in Providence. The two tickets matched four numbers and the PowerBall number.
Colbea Enterprises in Middletown and Dave’s Marketplace in North Kingston sold the $10,000 winning tickets. The two $10,000 winning tickets matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.
The winners have yet to come forward.
The Powerball jackpot reverts back to $20 million for Saturday night.
