Pilapil, 60 was with a female companion named Rossel Rossalem after a two armed men forced their way inside Pilapil’s gold Kia car at the Marikina Riverbanks area at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The report said Pilapil sustained multiple stab wounds and was left behind by the carjackers in a bushy portion of Piedra Blanca Homes in Brgy. San Luis, Antipolo City.
Until now, Pilapil’s companion, Rossalem, was taken by the suspects in the seized vehicle, according to the police, who are still looking for her.
According to police reports, Pilapil, despite of her wounds, was able to call for help from the residents. Rey Mapili who narrated on how he found the actress said, he was not able to recognize her because she was covered with dust and blood. She was then rushed to the Antipolo District Hospital. Afterward, she was transferred to Medical City for intensive treatment.
Around 5pm this afternoon, Pilapil’s spokesperson said that they can’t disclose any information just yet since this a traumatic experience, but the family are asking for prayers for the actress’ immediate recovery. The family is yet to decide whether they will reveal the medical bulletin of Pilar Pilapil.
Meanwhile, PNP are now investigating the incident.
