Right now, flocks of cruise connoisseurs are taking their pick, two of Royal Caribbean International’s options; Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.
“Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas have been immensely popular with families during the first season that both ships have been in service,” said Betsy O’Rourke, senior vice president of Marketing, Royal Caribbean International in a press release. “With triple- and quad-occupancy staterooms on both ships filling up quickly, this offer is the perfect opportunity to provide families with an affordable alternative for a memorable cruise vacation at a great value.”
The cruises sail year-round and round-trip from Port Everglades in Florida, alternating an Eastern and a Western Caribbean itinerary. Guests visit Nassau, Bahamas, St. Maarten and St. Thomas on the Eastern Caribbean sailing, and Cozumel, Mexico, the recently opened Historic Falmouth Port, Jamaica, and Labadee, Royal Caribbean’s private beach destination in Haiti on the Western Caribbean itinerary.
Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas share the title of the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ships. Each have 16 decks and carry 5,400 guests at double occupancy with 2,700 staterooms. They feature Royal Caribbean’s exclusive neighborhood concept of seven distinct themed areas, which include Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, the Pool and Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place and Youth Zone.
