Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald made headlines last week when it was rumored that the two stars were dating. This week, we can officially confirm that the two are dating – Paul confirmed the news himself!
Paul told PEOPLE last week that he is “officially dating” the Twilight star and plans to pursue the relationship even further now that he has some free time.
For those of you who don’t know, Paul was eliminated from American Idol 2011 last week but his new lady love isn’t heartbroken over the news. Here’s why:
“She is actually pumped,” Paul said of Nikki’s reaction to his elimination last week.
“She said, ‘Dude, you finally get to do your thing and be yourself and be the artist you are.’ She is happy about the whole situation. She has been nothing but cool to me.”
Sounds like a really good, supportive relationship.
So excited to see what the future holds for these two!
