Mahindra Verito, a renamed version of the previous Mahindra Logan sedan, was launched in the country on Tuesday in a revised price range of Rs 4.82-Rs 5.62-lakh. The car has been launched in both diesel and petrol versions.
In a statement given on Tuesday, M&M's Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Rajesh Jejurikar said, "The Verito, with its unique value proposition aligns with the Mahindra DNA of offering tough, rugged and sporty vehicles. For the first time, we are using social media platforms to unveil a new product, reflecting alternative thinking." He added that the previous Mahindra Logan sedan will continue to get complete service and spares support from the company.
The earlier Logan sedan was priced in the range of Rs 4.67-lakh and Rs 6.47- lakh (ex-showroom). The Logan sedan has been appreciated for its unique combination of space, mileage, performance and style.
On Monday, the company had announced to launch its Logan sedan with a new name – Verito – in the Indian market. The company said in a statement, "We are delighted to announce that the Logan will now be called the Verito. It will sport the Mahindra badge and emblem."
