Food Network

Guy Fieri
For 71 years, Moseberth's has done one thing really well - fried chicken.
Food Network star Guy Fieri checked out the Portsmouth hot spot Thursday.
Owner Linnie Moseberth is used to being in the kitchen.
"Not used to being on camera," said Moseberth.
Fieri and his crew chose Moseberth's for an installment of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
"We look for the funky joints, we look for the places that have been around forever, in fact we don't even have to look for them because most of our viewers write into FoodNetwork.com," said Fieri.
The competition to get on the show is stiff.
"It's about 25 locations before we get one location to stick," said Fieri.
The payout is priceless.
"We'll shoot this, it will air, and the next morning there will be 250 people lined up here," he continued.
"The economy is bad right now. I think we can handle the extra push," said Moseberth.
Even without the national exposure, Moseberth's customers are loyal. They come for the fried chicken, pork barbecue, collared greens and succotash.
Derryl Harris and his family came from Northern Virginia.
"Moseberth is a must stop when we come home for visiting our family and friends," said Harris.
"We have a lot of repeat customers, they keep coming back so we're doing something right," said Moseberth.
The show's producers have not said when the show will air.
