The queue for election rally sites has already formed at Police Cantonment Complex even though registration only starts at 2pm Wednesday.

Channel NewsAsia understands that there are more than seven representatives from different political parties in the queue.

The first person in line is believed to have started queueing in the early afternoon on Tuesday.

Election rally sites are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis daily.

Political parties may start queueing for election rally sites daily from 8am after Nomination Day on Thursday.
