Coachella 2011

Coachella 2011
Each year, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place in Indio, California. Unlike many other music festivals, Coachella has a campground where thousands of festival-goers can continue to party late into the night.
Coachella was first held in 1999 and, except for 2000, has occurred every year since. In 2003, Coachella opened up a campground with the possibility to stay overnight at the festival.
According to the Los Angeles Times, those who stay overnight can participate in such events as a roller disco, which is organized by the festival. Many campers also create their own parties right out of their cars.
This year will also feature a farmer’s market.
TheWrap reported that this year’s festival will feature performances by Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas, DJ Vice, EC Twins, Kid Sister, and many others. The full lineup includes over 130 artists.
The three-day festival begins April 15 and continues through April 17.
