Jonny "Bones" walks out to the cage to "God Gave Me Style" by Fifty Cent. He slaps himself in the body after taking a few deep breaths. Herb Dean will officiate this bout. No eye contact in the center, but they touch gloves.
Round 1: They touch gloves again. Bader moves in quick with two big shots. Jones halfway attempts a flying knee, then lands a takedown. Bader tries for a guillotine but Jones avoids, moving to side control, then north-south. Jones looking for a north-south choke here. Jones in side control, with Bader against the cage. Bader gets to his feet. Bader misses ona few shots, Jones lands a straight to the body. Jones with a high kick. Jones deftly avoids a takedown and keeps Bader pinned to the ground. Jones sneaks in an elbow, then jumps over Bader's head as he attempts to get up, taking his back, forcing him back to the mat and landing with more elbows. Jones with elbows to the body. Jones landing with a few big punches to end things.

Round 2: Great first round for Jones. They touch gloves again to start it. Jones with a stiff left hook, easily avoids a one-two from Bader. Jones misses on a jumping head kick, but lands with a leg kick follow up. Jones misses on a jumping elbow and Bader hits him on his way in; Jones shows no ill-effect. Bader lunges forward and lands with a jab. Bader whiffs on a big punch. Jones with a nice jab-leg kick combo. Bader avoids a takedown from the clinch. Jones with another leg kick. Jones slightly mirroring Anderson Silva's style. He avoids a takedown. Jones with a nice kick, then they hit the mat with Jones on top in half guard. Jones looking for a choke as the round winds down, Bader taps.

Jon Jones says this is his time. Joe Rogan springs it on him that Rashad Evanshas blown out his knee and that he is wanted to step in on his behalf in his scheduled title fight against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. Jones falls to his knees and accepts. Light heavyweight champion "Shogun" Rua enters the cage and expresses his respect for Jones.
