Anna Chapman

The glamorous ex-Russian spy Anna Chapman has registered her name as a trademark as her fame grows by leaps and bounds.
The move by the 28-year-old redhead, nicknamed "Agent 90-60-90" by the Russian press in a reference to her hourglass figure, came after some sex toy makers in the United States said they were going to come up with a rubber doll named Anya and an exact copy of Anna Chapman...
Anna Chapman
Chapman, whose maiden surname is Kushchenko, became a celebrity and sex symbol as the best known member of a ten-strong “sleeper” spy ring arrested in the United States last summer. Her seductive lingerie photo shoot in the Russian-language edition of Maximmagazine and revelations by her British ex-husband Alex Chapman have made her a household name just about everywhere.
Chapman has since won a consulting job at a Russian bank, named as one of the leaders of the pro-government  Molodaya Gvardia or Young Guard movement and two weeks ago she launched a weekly television show called Mysteries of the World with Anna Chapman.
When someone becomes a celebrity, especially such an all-round one like Anna, it becomes very tempting to use this newly-acquired popularity to enrich oneself, says the head of the ArtGraphics studio and editor in chief of Identity magazine Andrei Purtov.
Registering one’s name as a brand is a popular practice in Russia with more and more famous people, or their relatives, applying for patents each year. Just like a daughter of the world’s first spaceman Yuri Gagarin, and celebrated gymnast Alina Kabayeva, who just recently launched a doll with her name.
