Qwiki

Qwiki
Upstart company Qwiki has secured another chuck of money through financing with the investors this time including several top executives and creators of some of the biggest companies online.  The Qwiki financing makes this the second round completed.

One investor this time is Eduardo Saverin, the co-founder of Facebook as well as people who helped start such companies as YouTube, and Juniper networks.

The comany produces a Qwiki which is a short animated video pulled from many sources on the internet and returns them to the person asking for the information unlike the standard search engine.  The combinations include audio, video, text , as well as photos.

In a media release Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin said, "Qwiki is a revolutionary new platform that will define the future of information consumption globally. I'm particularly excited to support the Qwiki team as their initial product gains momentum. It is always thrilling to be involved in the early stages of disruptive technology."
