George Clooney is one of the most popular actors in the world and this week, the actor concerned his fans when reports surfaced that he was diagnosed with malaria.
The bad news is, George Clooney did have malaria. The good news is he is almost fully recovered.
The Syriana star released this statement through his rep:
“This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to a bad ten days instead of a death sentence.”
Tonight, George will be appearing in a scheduled interview with Piers Morgan where he will discuss his illness and how he recovered.
