Police in St. Charles, Louisiana looking for, the brother of Ravens safety Ed Reed after he jumped into the Mississippi River was to flee the police, told WWL-TV New Orleans on Friday.
The suspect, family members of 29 years, Brian Reed identified, jumped into the river Friday near the line of the parish of San Carlos-connoisseur.
"The suspect jumped into the river, some 15 yards from the member," said Sgt. Dwayne LaGrange, a spokesman for the Office for St. Charles Parish Sheriff. "At one point, the yes said to come primarily for the hand of the witnesses and the head and go under water and never appear again."

"It was a good person," said his mother, Karen Reed. "The way had a little run with drugs and things. They were so excited. Except it was all right."
She said she was driving a family car.
