The Feast of the Winter Solstice or Dong Zhi brings a new meaning this year for Gim Wong Siang Loo Enn Tang and his wife because he was the first born to his daughter.
"We now have a family member and Dong Zhi is particularly meaningful for us today. I will definitely inculcate the values of the festival with my daughter as she grows," said Wong, 34, The Malay Mail

Wong's family is proud of colored balls house rice since the start of the rice flour, mix, knead the dough, and add the red bean paste and black sesame filling.
A sweet syrup is then in boiling water, boiled pandan leaves, sugar and ginger.
With working hours and busy lifestyle, decided three brothers from Sungai Siput, Perak, to improvise when it comes to preparing the dessert, sticky rice ball for Dong Zhi is.
Chin Wai Chow, 33, Lee Sim Chow Chow and Lee 30 San, 28, who worked in Kuala Lumpur for seven years, said he wanted to get ready-made dumplings of glutinous rice Tang yuan a year now supermarkets and kitchen. They said they wanted to eat, even on ordinary days.
"Never lose Dong Zhi. This year I wanted it to be something special and decided together and draw our own glutinous rice balls ... but the rice was prepared in advance, of course," said Lee San
She said it was fun and exciting "work together" for the yuan peg, and expressed their desire to enjoy the delicious desserts together.
