PRO Bowl Roster

While the Patriots put six players in the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl list - the second in seven of the Falcons - one has to wonder: Could more have been?

Be represented on New England by quarterback Tom Brady, OG Logan Mankins and DL Vince wilfork and reserve LB Jerod Mayo, CB and FS Devin McCourty Brandon Meriweather, it is unlikely that the case is made for the safety Pat Chung and TE Rob Gronkowski Rookie could also be selected.

Chung is the second on the team with 94 tackles and three interceptions, and if you see a Patriots game did not take long to effect instantly. Gronkowski is the fourth team with only 36 receptions but leads the team with nine receiving touchdowns as a favorite target of Brady in the red zone. His nine points for second in the AFC bound in tight ends, behind San Antonio de Diego Portales (of course). But do not complain

While arguing about who and what not hide I can take days, everyone seems to agree on one thing: No one really knows how Brandon Meriweather was selected to the Pro Bowl. Pats pulpit and called it the "big surprise" selections on the Pats and Greg Bedard Globe weighed also:

OK, we have no idea in this case, we are open to suggestions as to how it happened. You do not need to speak to a staff member with say something nice about him and his teammates know he has a responsibility yet. Meriweather was also schöngebordeten. His talent has never been disputed, but perhaps not concentrate and study habits. His place should have gone to Eric Weddle Chargers or Raiders Michael Huff.
