Neanderthals

Unlike a child (and, well, now), Neanderthals ate their vegetables, according to a recent study.

The popular perception of a Neanderthal man is a brute predator. But a new study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that even more complex than we thought made public.

Although previous studies did not find any of Neanderthal bones and vegetables, the researchers discovered trace plant material fossilized grains in the teeth. Some grains appear to have been cooked.

Neanderthals: they are like us. But no word if Neanderthal children refused to eat their vegetables.
