Lindsey Vonn

Lindsey seventh Audi FIS Ski Alpine World Cup giant slalom on Tuesday in Semmering, Austria Vonn. Second Riesch Vonn broke today, the top overall ranking.

    Tessa Worley of France won a third consecutive year, the Women's World Cup giant slalom with two minutes and 9.66 seconds. Maria Riesch of Germany, the second place after two minutes and 10.28 seconds on. World champion Katherine third with two minutes and 10.44 seconds Germanytook Hölzl, according to the results.

    "I had a very good first lap, but do not expect to win, " Worley said today in U.S. cites. "It is very difficult here, if you have to wait until the last coat. I forced myself to think that there is a second pass, but only a new career that I would win."

    World is still two victories from Ania Pärson record five consecutive victories in 2004.

    Vonn took two minutes and 11.06 seconds to complete the course, 1.40 seconds off the world. Vonn, three times World Cup is now on 41 points behind Riesch for the final slalom of the year Wednesday.
