ITE Singapore

Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and Singapore GP Pte Ltd, promoter of a Formula 2009 raceSingTel SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX , have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly train and provide experience 1,000 students working at ITE.
MoU will enable students to experience working in event management and customer service at the

Highest international level. In accordance with the collaboration of four years, ITE Singapore GP and will enter into a strategic partnership to leverage the mutual strengths and resources. Nitec ITE students in higher education business (Event Management), Nitec more in business studies (administration) and other relevant ITE courses will be offered this unique training and work experience program Singapore GP is the partnership with the Singapore workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS) to provide a three-stage approach in preparation for the event. The training program includes a pledge online employment Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training and on-site training. TMIS will provide successful candidates with a nationally recognized WSQ Statement of Attainment.

After training, students will be assigned roles in the Marina Bay Street Circuit Park. Roles will vary from Access Control Regulations, Customer Service Officers to information ambassadors. Students will each receive a certificate of participation Singapore GP, together with remuneration based on their specific roles within the Circuit Park.
The Singapore GP partnership meets the objective of integrating the young in Singapore Singapore F1 event. Underscoring its commitment to high-level training, Singapore GP will invest S0, 000 a year in this program for the next four years.

As FORMULA ONE is still relatively new in Singapore, Singapore GP is also organizing a roving photo exhibition, from network ITE campuses. To discover this season’s first exhibition at ITE Bishan campus today is Mr Zainudin Nordin, Mayor of Central Singapore District. The exhibition is intended to educate both young and old on what is about sports. ITE After touring the exhibition is expected to move to a series of local events and community centers to spread the spirit throughout FORMULA ONE Singapore.

Inaugural Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix took place on 28 September 2008 on a street circuit of public roads around the Marina Bay. Singapore GP Pte Ltd is the race promoter F1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix. Holds the rights for five years renewable at the Singapore Grand Prix stage since the 2008 season. The company is a partnership between Komoco Motors and regional events company Lushington Entertainments, via its parent company Reef Enterprises.
